Pastor Carlos Merida started this fellowship in 1997, since then Carlos has been faithful to the work in this small city but with the biggest hispanic community in the Puntnam Co. Rev. Merida is a Local Pastor and was appointed as Manos Hispanas Ministries Associate working in Monterey TN. Iglesia Familia De Dios (Family of God Church was incorporated to the UMC in June 2005). Miguel and Carlos have become good friends and they are working together to develop ways to extend the Kingdom of God in this area.
